MANAKAA PROJECT x ALINA NAOMI

In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Berliner Label Manakaa Project entstehen Stücke, die traditionelle Handwerkskunst mit zeitgenössischem Design verbinden.

Jeder Kreis wird in meinem Atelier von Hand gewebt und anschließend auf den charakteristischen Stoff des Labels genäht. Das Ergebnis sind einzigartige Stücke, in denen hochwertige Materialien, feine Perlenarbeit und künstlerischer Ausdruck aufeinandertreffen.

Two signatures, one piece of jewellery.

Together with Natsuko Mizushima, I designed a small series of jewellery objects.

A fusion of our materials, our languages, our approaches. Delicate glass beads and heishi beads, wood and silver. What emerged combines our individual signatures into something new- powerful, delicate, and unique. Each piece in this collection tells a story of encounter, exchange and a shared joy of experimentation. 

This was only the beginning of an inspiring journey. 

The collection was exhibited in the Artrelations Gallery in Berlin. (2025)
